Face of the Week: Miranda Kerr's On the Go, Everyday Beauty

(image via dailymail.co.uk)
Aside from being a Victoria's Secret Angel, Miranda Kerr has walked for Balenciaga and was recently named the newest face of Mango. She's also married to hottie Orlando Bloom. So, yes, you could say that I envy her. If that's not enough to make you want to simultaneously hate and love her, she's also mastered the technique of looking effortlessly pretty.
Just check out these photos of her en route, looking fresh and glowy with minimal makeup:

What we love about this look is how feminine she looks without being too overdone. It's simple and brings her natural beauty to the forefront.
Now, Miranda has said that her beauty secret is simply coconut oil, which gives her shiny hair and soft skin. But I'm betting that there are also a few products at work that help her out. If you're looking to recreate Miranda's basic everyday face, here are some items we recommend:

1. Marcelle Kajal Kohl Eyeliner (C$11.95)
2. Garnier The Radiance Renewer Cleansing Gelee (C$10.99)
3. Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat Illuminating Foundation SPF 19 (C$55.00)
4. Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine in Pink in Devotion (C$39.00)
5. Lancôme Blush in Love in Pommettes D’Amour (C$52.00, available Feb 2013)
6. Benefit Watt's Up! (C$34.00)
7. Rimmel ScandalEyes Eye Shadow Sticks in #002 Bullet Proof Beige (C$6.99, available Feb 2013)

I will have to try coconut oil, although I tend to stay away from oils in my hair. I just find that list of makeup to recreate her look to be rather lengthy to try and not look done up. That's just me, but quite pretty!
love her look! I always try to keep it natural looking

I love her everyday make up look, it's so effortless and classy
Coconut oil is actually excellent for your hair and it's an amazing overnight leave-in treatment. Your hair will literally sing to you the next morning after you shower. I can't do it 'cuz I just can't stand the smell so boo for me. The most I do is leave it in for an hour and then shower it off.
I don't think I could put coconut oil, or any kind of oil in my hair, its to greasy as it is.
Agreed, doesn't take much when you're working with that! |
