Gratuitous Hottie Face Off: Tom Hardy vs. Tom Hiddleston

It's been a while since we did a proper Gratuitous Hottie Face Off. So this week, I am pretty pumped to get down with a cutthroat competition. We've got a double battle happening as well because not only are both of these men making names for themselves playing the evil villains in superhero movies but they're also both named Tom. That's right, this week we're talking Tom Hardy (i.e. Bane of The Dark Knight Rises fame) and Tom Hiddleston (a.k.a. Loki in Thor and The Avengers). 

Let's get started! We'll be pitting these two against each other in three rounds, each round will have a winner crowned. At the end, we'll announce the overall winner that will receive 'hottest of them all' bragging rights. 

Round 1: Who cleans up the best?

Tom Hardy (left): If you haven't got around to seeing the new Batman movie yet, here is a picture of Bane, the character Hardy plays in the new movie. Check it out and then come back here and check him out yet again. Transformation much?! Not only did he gain a mess of weight, he also shaved his head. Plus, he is terrifying. And normally he's as adorable as they get, agree?

Tom Hiddleston (right): As Loki, Tom is on the freaky weird side, to say the least. With jet black, long hair he isn't exactly the hottest candle on the shelf. However, I must say I am digging this brunette, slicked back hair version in a great suit vest. 

Winner: While both of these men really look schmexy as heck here, for sheer ridiculous transforming powers, I am giving this round to Hardy. 

Round 2: Who werks the beardy scruff?

Hardy (left): As if, as if, I was going to let a round go by without bringing up my favourite topic: beards. Tom Hardy has been sporting an incredible beard lately and I couldn't be happier. Ok, sure, he kind of looks like a crazy person, but really ladies, deal with it 'cause it's an incredible beard. 

Hiddleston (right): Hiddleston's been known to sport the scruff and it looks good on him. Though it's nowhere near as big and fluffy as Hardy's, he knows what works on his face and he is pulling it off. 

Winner: It kills me to do this, but I think Hiddleston deserves to take this one. Here's why: the Hardy beard is amazing but only a select few ladies can handle it. Hiddleston goes with the perfect 5 o'clock shadow that enhances his face and doesn't overshadow it. 

 Round 3: Who pulls off old school slicked back hair?

Hardy (left): This isn't my favourite look on Hardy but really, when it comes to this guy, he's always going to look hot no matter what. Keep it up Mr. Hardy, you're doing excellent work.

Hiddleston (right): I love the slicked back hair on Hiddleston but I'm not a huge fan of his unruly, long locks. I think the short cut is much more flattering. 

Winner: Because neither man blew my socks off, I'm declaring this one a tie. 

So, this one ends up being a tie! In all honesty, I think Hardy is definitely cuter but Hiddleston wins huge personality points and he's kind of hot so I'm genuinely stumped. What do you chicks think?
