A classic favourite, bold red lips were all the rage at the Spring 2011 runway shows. Cherry red, scarlet and orange undertones are the ones to wear this season.

Over the past few years however, I've started loving this trend! I think it looks so classic! But you're right Lauren, the wrong shade could offset the color in your face, and result in the skin looking quite blotchy. Also, with red, you have to make sure there is no bleeding--you don't want to look like the bride of Frankenstein. I particularly love how Gucci and Dior did the red lips.
