We Love Fridays: We Love Yellow Edition

This past fall and winter were all about the dark, jewel tones: oxblood, emerald and sapphires. There was also a baroque influence with heavy prints, textures and patterns. Spring is just around the corner and it's time for something new and fresh! Ditch the dark colours and instead go for fun and flirty brights.

I'm especially obsessed with yellow - It's sunny, punchy and just a fabulous pop of colour. If you're not on board for head to toe yellow, try a an accent piece like a gorgeous buttery handbag or a piece with yellow print. Put it against a neutral palette and you'll be the talk of the town.

Here are a few pieces to get your spring wardrobe in high gear:

1. Nasty Gal Power Trip Tweed Jacket (C$68.37)

2. Classic Wide Bangle (C$34.00)

3. Indigo Sketch-Plaid Scarf (C$48.00)

4. Joe Fresh Slim Print Pant (C$39.00)

5. Z Spoke by Zac Posen Eartha Soft Top Handle (C$495.00)

1. Forever 21 A-Line Daisy Dress (C$39.80)

2. Nine West Reelymind Wedge Sandals (C$125.00)

3. Express Retro Opaque Frame Sunglasses (C$29.90)

4. Hello Kitty Tokyo Pop Liquid Nail Art (C$12.00)

5. J. Crew Bubble Necklace (C$174.00)

How will you choose to wear yellow this spring? Are there any colours you're exited to wear come spring?

I absolutely love yellow, and supposedly I look good wearing it - double bonus! haha. The first outfit (with the yellow tweed jacket, is adorable. I love how it looks together! I would have never thought to pair a black and white dress, with a yellow jacket. Man, you learn something new everyday!
