Yay or Nay: Beyonce in Brights and Prints
Before we get into this, I think we all need to take a minute to appreciate the superwoman that is Beyonce. I feel like she was pregnant for about a nanosecond, had the baby and then came out looking like a supermodel the next day. She must be a wizard, there is no other explanation.
Now getting into this specific look. Beyonce has been out and about recently wearing lots of colour and prints- two of my personal fave spring trends and here she is wearing both.
Only, I'm not totally sold on this look. I love that pink sweater and the skirt, while being a bit out there is kind of chic, but all together, with the hat and the retro glasses, this look just doesn't do it for me. If this outfit was broken up, and each piece toned down with other basics I think I could rock it. That being said, I am convinced Beyonce has magical powers, so she can pull off anything!

 | I love the trend, and I love her in general but I agree with Alexandra's assessment .... all these pieces would work great on their own, but together....I dunno... weird. Her shoes, hat and glasses look posh. Her sweater can be posh-ish too. The skirt is boho, but just doesn't go. But then again, what do I know? Oh, I rhymed! lol |
