Yay or Nay: Cobie Smulders Red Carpet Style

Sometimes there's an actress who you absolutely adore but who just has the worst sense of style. You don't want to say anything bad about them because you really do love them but still, that outfit, those shoes, that bag; it's all so disappointing! That's how I feel this week with this red carpet look on Cobie Smulders. Cobie is amazingly funny on How I Met Your Mother and she's a stunning woman but this look is not doing her any favours.

Granted, It's not totally awful. The cut is very flattering and I love that open, deep V neckline on her but this print is all sorts of wrong. For the longest time, I sat staring at it, trying to figure out if those patches were cut outs in the dress or some sort of peachy applique fabric. I still can't tell. This dress is way too distracting and busy. As I like to say, she's not wearing the dress, the dress is wearing her.
