I was a little leery about using any type of oil on my face because I have combination skin and I was just a bit worried about the results. How ever after using the prep cleanser I put a few drop in my hand and went for it. My first thought was oh no, this seems like way to much oil for my skin. How ever with in minutes I completely forgot it was even on my face. My skin soaked it right up and it didn’t cause my face to become an oil slick through out the day. I’ve used it everyday and haven’t had one problem. The fine line’s I had around my eyes and mouth are hardly noticeable any more and the deeper frown lines between my eyes have softened. I definitely recommend anyone give Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil a try. -

I really enjoyed the Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle repair prep cleanser! I’ve been using it everyday since it I received it along with the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Oil and I have actually notice a difference in my skin. The cleanser is creamy with just a touch of cleansing beads. If it has a scent to it, I haven’t notice one, but I’m also suffering with awful allergies at the present time. It rinses off easily and leaves your face feel clean and soft. The fine line’s I had around my eyes and mouth are hardly noticeable any more and the deeper frown lines between my eyes have softened. I definitely recommend anyone give Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Prep Cleanser a try on its own or along with the Rapid Wrinkle Repair Oil. -

I must admit that I had very little hope for this product, simply because I have tried so many others to conquer my dried out winter skin for several years. With one try I could tell we finally have a winner with this new Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream! I’ve been so impressed with it, you might even say obsessed with it. I love that it has no scent to it, as other’s can irritate my skin and my eye’s. A small amount to cover both hands and arms and a squirt for each leg is more than sufficient to cover your skin in silky bliss. It leaves no greasy sticky mess, so you won’t have to stand there waving your arms and shaking your legs trying to become dry enough to be able to dress. You can almost hear your skin give out a sigh of relief as it soaks up the heavenly moisture that it’s been craving. This delightfully feeling you can give your skin also lasts all day, or night long, so reapplying isn’t needed, although its gives you so much pleasure that you just might find yourself doing it any way. If I could bath in it I think I would. If you’ve been struggling with dried out winter skin, or just dry skin in general, you have to pick yourself up some Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream. You won’t be disappointed! You’ll feel instant relief and your skin will thank you for it over and over again. I most definitely recommend that you try Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream! I received this new Colgate Sensitive Pro-Relief Gentle Whitening Toothpaste for free thanks to a coupon I got in the mail from Shopper’s. I wasn’t going to try it because I’ve been happy with the sensitive toothpaste brand that I’ve been using and when I have tried other brands, they never seem to work for me. Since it was free I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised by it. I don’t really care for its taste, it’s very minty, but after using it only one time, its effects were spot on and they lasted for a full 24 hours no matter what I drank or ate, hot or cold, I didn’t feel a thing. I can’t say much for the whitening that it’s supposed to give you because after two weeks of use, I haven’t seen any difference in the colour of my teeth. If you have sensitive teeth and don’t mind very minty toothpaste you should give this one a try. A medium size tube is selling for $3.97 at Walmart Canada, but I’ve seen it at some stores selling for as high as $7.99, which I think is ridicules for any toothpaste! So make sure you do your home work and look around before you go out and buy it. -

I was snooping around in Walmart’s hair care department when I spotted this new one minute hair treatment by Garnier. Its available in a five different type’s, Nourishing treat with coconut extract, Strengthening with banana extract, Color vibrancy treat with Goji extract, Repairing treat with Papaya extract and Smoothing treat with Avocado extract. This mask is 98% naturally derived so it doesn’t way your hair down. The formula its made from is 94% biodegradable, and 100% vegan and it has no silicones, parabens any artificial color. I chose the repairing treat because my hair is always in need of repair and because I really liked how it smelled. It has a nice light fruit scent that I tend to prefer. The nice thing about these new hair masks is that you can use them in three different ways. Use them as you would when using your regular conditioner, by applying it all over your wet hair after you’ve washed it, than rinse it off, apply it just to the tips of your clean wet hair and leave it on for a minute, than rinse it off, or apply it to clean wet hair and leave on for as long as you like than rinse. I’ve only used it as I would my usually conditioner and I love it. I was shocked at how fast it rinses out. It rinses out so fast that you’d think you hadn’t put anything on your hair. When I was rinsing my hair I thought for sure I was going to be sitting combing out knots for hours. To my surprise, my hair combed out easier than it ever has with any other conditioner I’ve used through the years! It’s left my damaged hair feeling and looking softer than it has in a very long time! You can only buy it in a 100ml container right now, but I’m hoping that will change. If you haven’t tried one of Garniers new one minute masks yet than I recommended you go pick one out and give it a try. I’m sure you’ll love it just as much as I do. -

I picked this Alcan non-stick baking foil up at Wal-Mart last week hoping it would save me from using cooking spray and, just because I was curious to see if it would really work. That same night I made some chicken legs, nothing special, I just coated them in some shake & bake and baked them as directed on the package. When I went to turn them, about half way through, they weren’t stuck to the foil, but they never are for me at this point when I just use regular foil. The real test was going to be when they were fully cooked and I was ready to remove them from the foil lined cookie sheet. To my disappointment the first leg was stuck, but only a little. How ever the rest were so stuck that I thought I was going to need a crowbar to remove them from the pan. Do to all the yanking I had to do to get the legs to release from the so called non-stick foil; it tore, allowing the chicken grease to spill onto my cooking sheet causing a bigger mess. Needless to say, I’m not very impressed with this Alcan Non-stick Baking Foil. I won’t be buying it again, but if you’d like to try it out for yourself, you won’t break the bank to do so, its not to expensive at $3.47 for 25 feet of foil. -

#gotitfree I’d like to thank ChickAdvisor and Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher for giving me the opportunity to #tryRootRetoucher out. Unfortunately I really didn’t care for it for several different reasons. I wish it would have came with better instruction on how to use the product properly, I had to go on line and look up what other’s where doing just to get a good idea of what I should do. For example it doesn’t say if your hair should be clean, or not been washed for a few days before applying it like other hair colouring products tell you. You don’t get any gloves with it and I had it all over my hands, face and all over my bathroom, It doesn’t say if the can should be shaken before you use it, or even how far from your hair you should have the can before you start to spray it. I wasn't sure if I should do short burst of it or spray it on like you would a hair spray. Once I had it on it did cover my gray roots to a point, but I found it made my shiny hair looked like it had spray paint on it, it looked awful, dull, and dirty looking. Even my family thought it made my hair look worse not better. Another thing I really didn’t like about it is the fact that it never seemed to completely dry. I applied it around 7:30pm and twenty-four hours later it was still coming off on my hands. When I washed it out it made another mess of my shower, there was hair dye every where and it was still coming out of my hair the next time I washed it. Do to all of these reasons I won’t be buying it for myself and I also wouldn’t recommended it to you to #CreateYourStyle -

I had been looking for a way to remove unwanted hair from my face, particularly for my eyebrows, for a very long time and I was so thrilled when I found the Philips Precision Trimmer at Shopper's Drug Mart. The older I get the worse my eye sight is getting and I just can't see well enough to pluck every little unwanted hair from my brows any more. It was frustrating and it was making me feel older than I am. This little trimmer has solved all of the issues I was having. It gets right in there and trims every one of the unwanted hairs that are easy to see and reach, while the precision attachment, that slides along the blade making it as small, or as big as you like, permits you to shape them just how you like them. Attach the definition comb to the trimmer, and you can clean up your brows with in 4mm to 2mm, depending on how short you like them to be. It’s nice and light so your arm isn’t killing you as you go through the process and it comes with a little brush so you can keep it clean. It does take a little getting use to, you have to find the right angle that works best for you, and because I need glasses to see what I’m doing, this can be a bit of a challenge. It’s hard to get right in there and see just where you're trimming when you have glasses sitting on your nose, but once you get the hang of it, it works great on brows. I’ve also used it on my upper lip and it removed every one of the unwanted hairs just as I expected it to do. Other than getting around my glasses the only other thing I have a problem with is where to buy replacement blades for it. I sure hope they let us know soon, other wise its just going to end up in a draw somewhere along side many other forgotten objects. If you like to do your brows at home, or if you’ve been struggling with the chore like I was, than I definitely would recommended The Philips Precision Trimmer to you and anyone else that would like to have something on hand that can do the job and do it quickly. -

I've been taking 5-HTP for about a year now. It not only saved me, it saved my relationship. I didn't know what was going on with me, all I knew was that I had turn into the biggest bitch on the street, I was unhappy for no reason, I cried for no reason and that was not me! I'm not a crier!! Nothing I tried seemed to change me back to myself. I finally found out that I was in the early stages of menopause and that was what was causing me to be a nut job. Finding that out made me cry some more, but it was also when I went looking around on this information HI-way and I found 5-HTP. 5-HTP is a mood stabilizer, it helps to build the your serotonin leaves that helps to promote healthy mood balance. The reason why I bought the Life brand was because it was the cheapest and I didn't want to spend a ton on something that may not work for me. I took one and I could feel a change in myself with in hours. IT seemed to take effect on me right away! All of a sudden I was smiling, laughing and actually talking to people with out wanting to tear their head off. I could sleep again and would wake up rested. I've tried other brands, but they just don't seem to help me as much as the Life brand does. I only take one a day, but it says to take more than that. I find one is more than enough for me, but everyone is different. You have to try it for yourself and feel how much you think is enough for you. Some women feel better taking more than me, but that's ok, what ever works best for you! If you're feeling like you hate the world and everything in it, give these a try. You'll be surprised at how much your mood changes. But if this still doesn't help you, PLEASE talk to your DR. and get help from them. -

The Zoella Beauty La Fizz Fragranced Bath Fizzer has nice packaging, when I first saw it I almost thought it was a chocolate bar. I received it for free as part of my Chick Premium membership. I'm not a big bath taker, I prefer to shower, but I did give it a try. The scent is alright, but it really wasn't something I would have chosen for myself. It also wasn't very effective. It fizzed for a few moments than fizzled out before I was even ready to get in the tub. I'm not sure if it was supposed to make my skin feel softer, but if it was, that never happened for me. In fact my skin was a bit irritated by it and it caused me to feel itchy, but that also may just be something my skin alone reacted to. I ended up giving it to my son's girl friend and she hasn't made and comments about. So I'm not sure if she felt differently than I do, but as for me, it's not something I would buy on my own even if it was for a gift. -
