I've been having the same break outs since elementary school and I'm now in my 20's. It has gotten better since I left high school but it's still not how I would like my skin to be. I was wondering if anyone has products they really love that have helped them. I have really dry skin after I wash my face, after I apply my mattifying moisturizing it works for an hour then my face is back to being a grease ball. I also suffer from getting pimple blemishes and they are so dark and annoying. (I've been to the doctors about this fyi)
Any reccommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I would recommend using a moisturiser that is Non Comedogenic, meaning it won't clog up your pores. Do you use toner and cleanser at all? Pick at your face? What's your skincare routine and how often?

I was using st I've tea tree oil cleanser and their apricot scub (still using). But now I'm using a charcoal cleanser that I wanted to test out. I don't use toner I have used niveas in the past but I found that when I put on moisturizer after my face was super oily.

Maybe try using some masks meant for oily skin and use them a couple times a week. I've found that using the seaweed face wash, exfoliator and toner from The Body Shop has helped with oiliness a bit. Also using a toner with salicylic acid really, really helped me. I bought a Life Brand one and it has been pretty decent so far. I'd like to try a charcoal wash next. I am using charcoal nose strips and they really have helped clear out those pores.

Make sure to use a scrub only once a week or you'll damage the skin over time. I would suggest using a toner that doesn't have oil! Definitely get a non oil based moisturiser!
