I've always loved clear mascara. I've gone through phases of trying "regular" mascaras and had some fun with experimenting with them and colored/glitter mascaras but I always go right back to clear. Maybe it's just because I prefer a very light natural look with my makeup and since I have red hair and thus red/light lashes even the lightest shades of mascara (and lash "tints" as well) can look like too much on me.
If you've never used clear mascara before you're probably thinking "What's the point of clear mascara?" but it really does make a difference. I'll have to get a picture of before and after to prove it lol. It's not a major difference of course but it does add just the slightest bit of extra definition to finish off my eye look for the day. *swoon* I'd be lost without clear mascara...
Best part? You can also use it on your brows to keep them looking nice and neat all day long. So one tube does double duty. :D

I've been considering getting something to mat down that unruly brow of mine, but feel like it's such a scam to just get an eyebrow gel specifically for that purpose. So, this clear mascara idea sounds like a good compromise. Plus, it'll be useful for situations where crying might occur. Any particular brand you like most?

I've actually only ever used two brands of clear mascara. The first was Jane - since it was all my mom would buy for me in the way of mascara when I was 13/14 and she still made all the makeup rules. I actually liked it though. When I wasn't able to find that anymore I started using Maybelline Great Lash clear mascara and haven't felt a need to shop around for something different. :)

Some clear mascaras are nothing more than castor oil - which encourages lash health and growth. It's an old Hollywood trick !!

I used to use Maybelline Grat Lash Clear Mascara for unruly brow as well! I did not know anyone else did that! Since then, I have discovered threading and for some reason the brows I do have are not as unruly so no clear mascara required. It is a great product to use for unruly brows though...and a lot cheaper than it's equivalent products made especially for brows!
