Hey so my interest in BB creams have peaked! But just out of curiousity what exactly is a BB cream? I'm planning to purchase marcelle as I have acne prone skin.
Icurrently wear a tinted moisturizer by Fushion beauty and love it however the packaging looks the sameas marcelle bb cream so what is the difference between the two? Are they really that great?

I have to leave for work now....But there are a few links about BB creams somewhere sorry I don't have time or I would find them and post them for you :)
There are also reviews for both Marcelle and Garnier BB cream you could check those out as well.Have a nice day...

I think I will give the marcelle one a try!!! I didn't know if it was the same as a tinted moisturizer but it looks like there's a big difference between the two

I still haven't tried it yet either. I'm planning on picking up the Marcelle BB Cream soon. Still hoping to find a pale enough shade. That's always my problem with makeup. :/

I've tried out a few different BB creams so far and so far, I can say that each one is pretty different. We also did a quickie BB cream post last summer with BB creams from Asia specifically:
From what I have read and from my own experience, BB creams are very similar to a tinted moisturizers but usually they contain extra serums or ingredients that a moisturizer won't have.
I have tried the Garnier and Marcelle BB creams and to be honest I prefer the Garnier one. It's thicker and gives more coverage which is what I need. But if you want a more sheer bb cream then try the Marcelle.
I love BB creams for days at the gym or just running errands when I'm not going anywhere special. They really help to even out the skin tone and give just a bit of coverage.

Thanks for this post ladies! I wasn't really too well informed on BB creams myself, but the article you put up Alex actually explains a lot! :)

I currently use a tinted moisturizer by fushion beauty, I love the feel of it but the colour is too dark for my pale skin and it's too sheer I need full coverage. After looking through the reviews on here I think I've decided to go with garnier

I preferred the Garnier over Marcelle.Try the tester on the back of your hand next time your shopping wherever they are sold it may give you a bit of an idea.

I have a sample of the Garnier bb and I like it. I have no comparison but I do like the tint in it as I don't wear alot of make-up so this makes me feel a bit more confident knowing a simple cream can help disguise my uneven tones.

Just went to pick up the garnier bb cream (went makeup less) and the girl suggested since my concern was acne not to use the BB cream as it would be too oily on my skin and possibly result in breakouts. She said to go with an oil free tinted moisturizer instead...
