Beauty Advent Calendars 2016

The last few years I've noticed that beauty advent calendars are on the rise! I used to live in the UK and saw quite a few available there, but now that I'm back in Canada I was wondering if anyone knew of any brands/stores/websites that I could buy one from? Any advice or reviews of any you have seen or tried would be greatly appreciated! I'm specifically looking for one that I can purchase or have shipped within Canada so I don't have to worry about duty charges. I know I may be a bit early looking for advent calendars but I want to do my research and leave enough time for shipping!

Thanks!

Wow that's pretty cool sounding. I have never seen or heard of a "beauty" advent calendar. What is each day of the month filled with? chocolate or beauty things? That would be a cool gift. Let me know

Depending on the type of advent calendar they could be filled with any type of beauty related product (usually miniature/sample versions but sometimes full size!) from lipsticks and eye shadows to skin care and lotions! As you can imagine, they can be quite pricey!

I've attached a link below to some that are available in the UK for 2016 (I know many of these brands (if not all?) are available in Canada so I'm hoping I can track down one of the advent calendars here too! I know I can order the Asos one to Canada with free shipping because I've purchased from there in the past, but they always stick you with the duty charges!

Agreed...sounds interesting. Wondering if we could make one...may just have to head over to Pinterest and check that out. @skye22, sorry I can't help, but I will keep my eyes open.

The only one I've purchased (last year)is the Hard Candy make-up advent which was like 10-12 days. Loved it (had mascaras, glamoflauge, lip glosses... a good assortment) and it was inexpensive and at Walmart. They also had a Hard Candy nails one. If I see any brands advents in-stores this year I'll post here, they're so much fun.

That sounds awesome! (I hope I wouldn't treat it like I do the chocolate advents...all opened and consumed by the 8th...the 3rd if I'm premenstrual) :P

So are they made of cardboard and have the little windows that are perforated so you just push in and you get what is behind it? Im going to check out that link that was posted. I am thinking of door prizes for the Winter Markets I'm selling at this November. Im so exited. That would be pretty neat depending on the price too.
