So I've got a question for you but first are you familiar with 'Before and After' posts?
They're really big in Asia, actually they model whole television programs after them. A girl is shown with all her makeup on and then comes out without any on so you can see the difference. Check out this link:

People post photos of this online too, here are a few links:

I like seeing these - it makes me feel more human! Sometimes I feel like I see other girls and I'm like, wow I wish I had skin like theirs, or lashes like theirs, etc. But then to remember that they're also wearing a thickening mascara and concealer makes me feel better! It just reminds me we all have little dabs of makeup here and there that make us feel more presentable to the world.
Would I do this? Probably not. Only because I don't think many people would care to see it!

I look a lot younger when I wear undereye concealer and tinted moisturizer! As I've gotten older (and I'm not that old yet, but still...) sun damage from my misguided youth spent basting in baby oil has made my facial skintone really uneven. Leveling that out with tinted cream and concealer literally takes years off me. For some reason though I don't fare well with foundation because most kinds I've tried sink into my fine lines and make them even more obvious. Maybe I'm not using the right products though...

I do it all the time and I just like being Lady Gaga one day and Kim K the next day but I know that I can be natural any time I want

it makes me feel good to see that so many people are still humble enough to post things like this. so many makeup wearers have diminished confidence because of their reliance on makeup. pictures and things like these display true beauty, as well as showcase some great makeup skills.
