Best Eye Make Up Removers - thoughts?!

Wondering what everyone uses for eye makeup removal?  My current favourites are Clinique Take The Day Off (for eyes and lips) and Bioderma Sensibio H20 for eyes and face.  I find the Clinique slightly more effective at removing waterproof liners and mascaras - but it is a little more pricey than the Bioderma.  Any other good ones out there you Chicks have tried?  Thanks!

I use wipes. Right now Olay wipes. If I'm out of wipes, I use coconut oil.

I never find it difficult to justify a big tub of coconut oil from Costco - I will always find uses from baking to hair masks and it is by far my fav makeup remover. Someone bought me a box of Kirkland facial wipes, and they are ok, but coconut oil just feels so great on your face and doesn't require any crazy rubbing to get even eye makeup removed.

Neutrogena makes a kick-bum eye makeup remover. You need to shake the bottle to get the components to mix...and then one light swipe, and it's all gone! Including waterproof mascara

I second Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover. It takes off the most stubborn waterproof mascara with ease and doesn't leave any residue on the lashes or lids. I've been using it for a decade and strongly recommend it.

Thanks for the awesome tips lovesaraanne, jcb75 and kkychan! on Mar 27, 2015 @ 11:29 am

Happy Friday Chicks! Thanks for the great suggestions - I have to hit Costco this weekend so will check out the coconut oil. Neutrogena makes some really great, reasonably priced products so I will check out their remover as well. I am already in love with their Pink Grapefruit Wipes - lol!

Hi Michelle! I use Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. You can order it from Sephora, QVC, or most large, high end stores carry it. It's just not for eye-makeup. It removes all your makeup and doesn't irritate your skin. It has a weird smell, but it's a great cleanser. I use it with my Clairasonic I bought. It comes in 8 oz, 16 oz or a pump bottle of 32 ozs. My hubby even uses it. It melts it all off. Great product. Ginger.

Thanks - I hadn't even thought about the Philosophy line - and I think I got a sample in my March Topbox! Gonna check it out tonight when I get home! TGIF!

You're very welcome Michelle! I hope you have a great weekend and I'm interested to see if you do like the Philosophy. It does smell weird, but it works nicely. Ginger

I like the idea of coconut oil - will definitely try it! I personally like old fashioned Pond's cold cream. Not expensive, not greasy and really takes the makeup off.
