I am still on the search for the perfect nail top coat as well!
Can't seem to find ANYTHING that will prevent chipping on my nails.

You may have already tried it, but I find Seche Vite to be THE holy grail top coat if you don't mind one that is... on the chemical side. In terms of less harsh options, I found the Nails Inc. Kensington Top Coat to be quite good at preventing chips.
Oh, Butter London Hardwear topcoat is good too, although I find it a touch overpriced.
Hope this helps!

I honestly have not heard of those! Wait, I think I heard of the Nails inc but not a review. Where would you find them?

Seche vite can be found at beauty supply stores, but I always find mine at winners or homesense! I tend to stock up when I find them there, I think they are around $7.99.
Butter London you can get at Sephora!

I also highly recommend Seche Vite. It is pretty easy to find in the US (CVS, Ulta, Walgreens, Sephora, etc) but in Canada I usually get it at Sally Beauty Supply. You can also order it online (Well.ca, Amazon.ca or Amazon.com, etc).
It's a little pricey, but I really think it's worth the money if you constantly are smudging your fresh nails (which most of us do). You can also get a thinner for this product to get the full use out of the bottle since it thickens over time and becomes goopier than I'd like for a top coat - unless you like the gel look!

I am actually USA bound tomorrow and I will see if I can get some. If not, we are getting a Sephora!!! So excited!!!

I have discovered that you can just use the Miracle Gel top coat on top of any polish from any brand and it will last and last. Best top coat ever! It's really new though, so not all stores carry it.

I use Nail Inc Kensington Caviar top coat! Give a shiny touch to your nailpolish.
I also use the Nail In Kensington Caviar Base, it makes the dark nailpolish so easy to remove! I think it's 12$ each bottle.

A favorite of mine and a few nail girls that I interact with on Instagram swear by HK Glisten and Glow

I have tried many top coats but after a manicure that lasted 7 days with no chips (a record for me), I went to Sally ' s and got my own bottle. It is definitely the best item.
