Have any of you ordered from BhCosmetics? I really want their 120 first edition eyeshadow palette. The palette itself costs about $30 which is really amazing price, but the shipping to Canada is a lot!!! I think shipping might be another 30$ (or close to)...
Do you guys think its worth it? Has anyone tried this palette? Whats your experience with it?
Here's the link to the one I'm talking about: 120 Palette First Edition
There are tons of reviews on Youtube, but I wanted your opinions as well.
|As far as I'm aware, these products are rubbish and............ on Jun 25, 2010 @ 05:16 pm|
are exactly the same ones that you'll find here: http://www.coastalscents.com
I believe that Coastal Scents or possibly another company is selling these wholesale to other companies for private labeling. Meaning BH Cosmetics doesn't actually make this product, they just buy it and put their label on it (in short).
I own 2 of the Coastal Scents palettes and they are very disappointing. They're loaded with talc, have a great deal of fallout and just look tacky. I did a review of them on ChickAdvisor. If you look up 'Coastal Scents', you'll find it. Many people rave about these products, and I have no idea why. Super LOW quality! $20 or not, I can't even give these things away. I own two of the 88 palettes. Shimmer and Warm. If you want an affordable alternative, order sample sizes of Coastal Scents loose eye shadows, NOT their palettes. For $1 each, you get enough in a little plastic pod to use for a while. If you don't like them, then you're not out much cash. If you DO like them, you can order the full sizes, which are huge and quite cheap, considering the amount of product you get. You'll never run out, that's for sure.
I wouldn't recommend the BH Cosmetics palettes at all, for the reasons above.

that all of their makeup palettes are identical. So they MUST be exactly the same products.
