Blow Dry Bars

I'm wondering if anyone has tried a blow dry bar?  If you haven't heard about them, check out this growing company: blowmedry.com
I personally feel that the services are a little pricey, but then again, so is anything spa-related (case in point: $55 for my last basic pedi).
My hair is long, thick, and very heavy... I would consider spending the money for a special occasion, I guess.  But only if I knew that the style would last - if it looks a little bit better than I can do at home, that's nice, but if it falls flat in the same short time... not really worth it.

Have you had a blow dry bar experience?  Would you consider it?  I'd love to hear what you think, either way!
