Chapstick as moisturizer????

Some of you may know you can use the normal lip balms (no scent, no mint etc) to remove make up, but I also use it for my skin. I have way too many lip balms. Is this bad for me? So far I don't feel any bad effects, but was just wondering, better safe than sorry.
The specific brand I use is the Fresh Sugar line. It feels nice and creamy on my skin. (arms and legs.)

I think it's probably fine, if it's safe for your lips (with are more delicate) I imagine it would be safe for your skin. Definitely avoid around your eyes though!

I would check with a doctor or pharmacist. Lip balm has a warier texture, which can attract and hold on to bacteria. It creates a barrier, so doesn't absorb like a moisturizer would. Just a thought...

Never thought of this, good idea. I have so many lip balms. I will use it on my knees and elbows not on my face.
