Test the colours on your face instead of your hand. If there's a sephora near you, try their colour iq test

Always check foundation directly on the face. You can probably go to a pharmacy that has a makeup counter and they can help you out. Or you can go to Sephora, they have a colour iq that will find your perfect shade. Mac is also great and they will help you find the perfect foundation.

Usually if you request the ladies at Shoppers beauty department they will help you find a shade that matches
If you're looking for a premium brand foundation/concealer, like the other ladies mentioned try Sephora, they have that colour iq tool and it basically scans your skin and gives you the correct colour matches ! It's pretty cool!

does sephora charge for that! it sounds cool. thanks for all the great advice!!
|its free :) on Jun 02, 2015 @ 07:22 pm|
its free and then once you are matched with that colour, they also have the tool online, where you can input your current (matched at store) shade and brand and they give you a bunch of other brands/shades that are a match! its pretty awesome. I shop for my makeup mostly online, so when I find one that matches well that is what I do when I want to try a different brand.
