Has anyone tried the "at-home" version of this?  I recently added it to my routine and it seems to make a world of difference!!!!!

Dermablading and Dermarolling on Nov 20, 2013 @ 10:04 am

I've actually read about this and it TERRIFIES me haha. For anyone who is unfamiliar with dermablading, it's basically removing the thin layer of dead skin with a blade on top as well as peach fuzz to reveal fresh, soft skin.

I don't know how I feel about having a sharp object that close to my face. Though I will say, in articles I have read, there have been some positive feedback.

Do you practice this at home or in a spa?

Also- this reminds me of dermarolling which I read about not too long a go and I admit, I was intrigued even if it was slightly scary. You use a roller tool with small needles on it and run it over your face. Apparently, the idea is to puncture the skin and promote healing which actually reduces the acne scarring. Here's an interesting take on it.

Would you ever try either of these, chicks?

haven't tried it myself yet, but willing to try professionally..... on Nov 24, 2013 @ 06:33 pm

I've heard/seen videos/read blogs praising this technique but am scared to DIY it the first time. I'd be willing to try it though-especially because of all the past skin damage that's still on my face!
