I've noticed that for the past month or so my feet have been getting extremely dry and flaky. I usually take very good care of my feet and give them a little at-home pedi every week, but i've been really busy at work lately so have been neglecting them a little.
Does anyone have any home or store-bought remedies that will help them from peeling & cracking?

Reading about feet makes me want to go out and get a pedicure or a foot
massage - too bad they are too expensive for my budget right now!

|Super easy Vaseline fix! on Dec 26, 2012 @ 11:23 am|
I have problems with dry feet too. While my preferred treatment is to keep up with regular moisturization every day using specialty footcare products like Gehwol, I can be a bit forgetful too.
For an emergency fix, spread Vaseline liberally over your dry patches, slip a plastic sandwich baggie (or saran wrap) over your feet, and top with a pair of warm socks. Try to keep these on as long as you can (overnight ideally). Once your feet have softened up nicely, bathe them in warm water and slough off the dry skin with a gentle buffer. Follow up with a rich cream and pull on some warm socks right away to keep the moisture locked in.
Works like a charm!
