Does anyone know of a good eye cream that works really well for wrinkle prevention/treatment? I have oily/combination sensitive skin and am just starting to see the effects of aging around my eyes. Boo! Anyone tried any kind of eye cream that actually works?

I have used Vichy Novadiol Contours Lips and Eyes Skin De-crumpling Redensifier Cream (woo, long product name) ... it is for around your eyes and lips to minimize crows feet, laughlines etc. This product works well for me and since I am almost 30 and most people think I look like I am in my early 20s I guess that is a testament to the eye cream! Come to think of it, I should write a review on it. :o) I would give this a shot...I get it from Shoppers Drug Mart. It goes on light and smooth and it not greasy at all.

No eye cream is the miracle worker that they claim to be. I don't think I've ever heard of one that actually erases any lines - what they do do, however, is provide a much needed gentle and nourishing moisturizer to the more sensitive skin around the eye. And a good cream will give the illusion of reducing lines by making that skin smoother and more supple.
That being said, I really like Sheiseido Bio-Performance Super Eye Contour Cream. It has a nice consistency, and is absorbed into the skin quite quickly. Total bonus: it's in a vacuum sealed pump, so you actually WILL get to use every damn drop of it. You should be able to find it at any of the larger Shoppers with one of those up-scale beauty boutiques. Ask them for a sample and try it out before buying, just to see if you like it first.
|I'm testing out a new brand... on Feb 20, 2007 @ 04:54 pm|
I'm evaluating a few brands to see if they would be a good fit at apothena.com, and one of them, Eden's Kiss, has an eye cream that I just ordered to try. (I thought of you, misschickie when I placed my order!). I'll report back on how I like it, and maybe you'll see it up at apothena. And of course, this eye cream is truly natural.

I have used Avon's Lighten Up Plus Undereye Treatment for years. I have very sensitive skin and had trouble finding a product that did not irritate the skin around my eyes. It works very well.

Although I have no recommendation to give, I will still weigh in by saying that the undereye creams from Dove and Nivea did not work at all for me - or so it seemed anyway.

Has anyone tried this? I'm testing a sample right now and it seems to be pretty good so far. Anyone else using this?

I've been using Philosophy's Hope in a Tube (it's an eye and lip cream) and have really been loving it. It seems lightly greasy when it first goes on but my skin just drinks every last bit up in about a minute so there is no greasy afterfeel. It has certainly softened the aging around this almost 31 year old's eyes...and the fine lines around my lips are diminished as well...
