Eyelash Extensions - Advice?

I am debating getting eye lash extensions but I am unsure about them.
Are there any negative effects? Do they get in the way? Any advice?!

I was afraid lash extensions would ruin or damage my natural lashes but they go back to normal after the lash extensions shed. Depending on the individual person, you will have to get them filled every two weeks or monthly. It will look sort of strange after your lash extensions start shedding because you will notice sparse areas so if you don't want to continue with the lash extensions you can get them professionally removed. I noticed at least one lash will shed every day. It won't start looking noticeable until two weeks. You can choose how long, thick or curly you want the lash extensions. You can go with a more natural look or dramatic if you like, depends on what you're comfortable with. Sometimes the first couple of times in the shower, my eyes will sting maybe from the glue but it's tolerable in my opinion. You will have to maintain them such as brushing them in the morning and evening to keep them looking nice. In my case, I was hooked after the first time. I wish I could have them done all the time but it is pricey. I love the way they look. It saves time in the morning since I don't have to apply mascara. Sometimes I even go without eye shadow because the lashes already make my eyes pop.

Lost my eyelashes on May 23, 2012 @ 08:02 pm

I had my eyelash extensions for a litte over a year.
I had extensions refilled every three weeks, as extensions were falling out. In about three months after having extensions I noticed that I lose more of my natural eyelshes together with extensions.
In about 5 months I had empty spaces on my eyelid were I had no eyelashes at all. I started using LATISSE to regrow my natural eyelshes and make them stronger to handle glue and weight of extensions.
Now I was spending $60 for refills every 3 weeks and $120 for LATISSE every 6 weeks. After a little over a year I gave up and had my extensions removed. My eyelashes were gone. I had small pieces about the size of 1/6th of my previous natural eyelashes. Some spots were completely bold. I started looking for various eyelash growth solutions while wearing false lashes for 6 weeks while my natural eyelashes were growing back. Now i use FYSIKO eyelash serum, as I feel it was he only solution that helped me to grow long and ful eyelashes and costs resonable for working product

Don't forget Rapid Lash people! It's only around 50$ where I live, and it's insanely effective IMO.

Just wear falsies whenever you need an eye "pick-me-up."

There is not ONE individual I have seen with lash extensions that has looked great with them.

They appear spidery, often times extremely obvious, the hairs don't seem aligned straight and they are just plain noticeable.

It's really not flattering and I hope many women realize, natural or corner falsies are the way to go.
