Hi I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a great facial moisturizer! I have horrid combination skin and any moisturizer I try makes my t zone look like an oil slick and everywhere else is fine! I've tried battle after bottle and it's all the same! Help please!

Maybe you should go see a Dermatologist and they might be able to give you a recommendation. Have a nice weekend.

Have you tried Mary Kay? on May 02, 2015 @ 01:16 pm

Mary Kay has several fantastic moisturizers that are safe for all skin types and feel very light! I was skeptical at first, but I've been using them for over five years now and could never go without!

Now, I know you can't just whip out and buy it at the store, but it's very likely there is a consultant near you that has some on hand.

Thanks the last time I went to the dermatologist they suggested Accutane which I tried. I really wish I hadn't, I've had some health issues ever since and the lotions they recommended all seem to do the same thing. but thank you for the suggestion, if we ever get a new dermatologist in town I'll try again

Sorry to hear that you had a problem with the product that your "dermatologist suggested Accutane" I have tried many great facial moisturizers but I just don't want to refer any encase you do have a health issues. Maybe get a second opinion. Hopefully some dermatologist will be able to help you. Good Luck. Have a great day.

A lot to consider on May 04, 2015 @ 02:24 pm

Combination skin is tricky but try and figure out what issues you want to combat and then start with that. I had combination skin in my teens and 20's but it was always dehydrated, so for me it was hydration I was after. It took some trial and error and this was long before Shoppers was the cosmetics mecca it is today. I also personally found that a cleanser was really important. I needed something that wouldn't strip my skin so badly that I ended up greasier than when I started. Everyone is different and it does take some time to figure out. Good luck.
