Fake freckles

Apparently freckles make you look younger, so ppl are faking them.  I have freckles so it's definitely not something I would ever think of doing.
But is it really any different than wearing colored contact lenses or dyeing your hair?
Would any of you non freckled ladies ever try this?

I think that's really weird, to be honest. If you have natural freckles they can look good, but I would never think of 'faking' freckles. Especially since smooth, evenly toned skin is the "ideal"...people get laser treatments like IPL to get an even complexion.

I also don't think they make you look younger. They might give you a sun-kissed or youthful charm, but when it comes down to your skin health I think they can actually age you. While freckles are hereditary, their numbers and darkness are increased when exposed to sunlight. So the more freckles you have, the more UV damage your skin has received. And hyperpigmentation is a sign of premature aging.

(Although I guess if you want to fake them to mix up your look for a while it's a lot different than actually having them, because they're erased with soap and water!)

I personally don't think it's weird.. But! It's nothing I would really do, but to each their own.

I think it's pretty similar to those who paint on a beauty mark.. You could even put wearing make up into the same category, since it's changing someone's appearance.

I'm just curious as to what's going to be coming out next..

Maybe like....... Peel & stick nose jobs? Lol.

I can see this as similar to drawing on a beauty mark (which is something I still consider pretty weird, but whatever haha). Still...what if you rub them off during the day, or they get smudged? "Oh hey girl your freckles are now lines" haha. I also think it'd be hard to make them look natural...you'd run a high risk of looking like raggedy ann lol

Haven't you noticed all the models on the mags have freckles these days? And they look really cute! But I still can't believe that there is even a market for that...when I was a kid freckles were the bane of my existence..!

I didn't noticed it. But I heard that in women its because of some hormonal unbalancing.
