I’ve been really into this feather trend lately and when I was doing research for the jewelry articles I came across a bunch of info on feather hair extensions. Check these babies out:

When I was younger my friends and I would always do the embroidery thread wraps around a very small section of a braid not sure what the name was but you basically weave 4 different colored threads around the section of hair and you could attach beads or feathers thast what I thought of when seeing these pictures...I love the second picture with the feathers with the blond hair very striking!
They were simply called: Hair Wraps on Mar 29, 2011 @ 06:01 pm
I remember those! My friends and I used to do them too.
I tried to post a picture I found that is similar to the blonde's natural colours but in a brunette head of hair - that's what I want!
Good Luck :) on Mar 31, 2011 @ 07:09 pm
Good Luck Lauren you should post a picture if you try this!My hair is still a bit to short to attempt this but if it was longer I would totally try doing this myself or have a friend help me.

I think they're really pretty on Oct 26, 2011 @ 11:55 am
I think they're great...how long do they last and can you leave them on while you're in the shower? Lol.
I know quite a few salons in Toronto offer this. There's a salon at Conestoga Mall in Waterloo that I saw that offers it too. I think it's getting really popular, so you'll probably be able to find it! :) Good luck!
