Yes, they announced the chosen members last week. I'm lucky enough to be on the list...can't wait to try it!

Sadly I wasn't on the chosen list.

For anyone who didn't get chosen and really REALLY wants to try out the Clarisonic, you can get it at 20% off for a limited time (any model). Go to their website and sign up for their newsletter... I did and got the offer in e-mail this morning. Sorry - there's no deal page to post this into.

Clarisonic deal on Nov 17, 2014 @ 11:33 pm

Angelwings - I got an update from Clarisonic that the 20% off any device deal is for only a couple of days. If you wanted to get it, use CHECKED at the check out. If he gets to it too late, then he can register on the site for $25 off. Since this is from the company, it's free shipping.

I found that amazon.ca also had great prices if you wanted to go that route... also free shipping. There is a Mia and Mia2 - there are differences in the price but compare the brushes here: http://goo.gl/fb9X9z and brush heads here: http://goo.gl/XsuyNZ

I decided to try another brand (less $$ but less features) and am loving it. If you are shopping around, sonic brushes are available at a wide range of prices. Here are some features to consider: waterproof (can/will you use it in the shower), sonic vibration vs oscillation, battery vs charger cradle, and variety (and availability) of brush heads. Only Clarisonic has the oscillation... but it's expensive and so are the every 3-month replacement heads. Hope this helps you!

(Great idea to ask for it for Christmas!)

I got the lime green color, which is groovy, and used it this morning for the first time. After one use I feel a difference in how soft and luxurious my skin feels. Can't wait to see how it is after more uses.

I really would have loved to get in on this one in particular. I have such a hard time with cystic acne, nothing topical treats it. I feel like the clarisonic might actually get deep enough to penetrate, but I am too scared to try it and find out it doesn't if I invest big bucks in it. I guess I will wait for the Chick reviews to start coming in and see what they are like.

thanks on Nov 20, 2014 @ 04:42 pm

Thanks for the Checked deal. I wish I had the money right now to spend $144 on a brush. I know the heads are expensive, but Groupon regularly has sales on generic heads that fit the Clarisonic for really cheap.

Question on Nov 21, 2014 @ 11:55 pm

If you've been selected and have received the Free Clarisonic for example, where do you post your review. Is there a special link that you need to enter your review at?

like normal on Nov 22, 2014 @ 10:13 am

You just post your review like normal under the product category. And make sure to mention in your review that you received the product for free from Chick Advisor.
