I know that we have talked about Axxium and Shellac already but I went back and looked at the threads and haven't seen anything about Gelish!
I got this done when I was in the US visiting my parents. It's a 'gel' manicure. Gel is applied to your natural nail (colored) and 'cured' under a UV light. It''s supposed to last 2 weeks.
I am wondering if anyone knows if this is available in Toronto? I am going to try it once more before deciding what I like best!
|Havent even heard of it on Jan 02, 2011 @ 01:09 pm|
but..I just saw a story about those UV lights and skin cancer on hands. I guess its becoming a more common occurance with woman that get their nails done regularly. It makes sense as they have already linked UV tanning and cancer....

I had Gelish nails for my sisters wedding! They were great!

in Toronto, you can get Gelish at Pretty in the City (Yonge & Eglinton). They also offer Shellac and Axxium.
However, please note....they almost NEVER pick up their phone and you will have to leave a message. When they check the messages, they will usually call you back however if you are in a rush (like I was on Friday), you most likely will not get in.
*I am going to post a review on this place today*

hey guys! i have been getting gelish and shellac on my nails for over a year and i LOVE them! i get them done at Hammam Spa in toronto. they carry both lines. i know some people that complain about their application or them not lasting as long, and i have never had that problem here - or at least with the girl i go too lol. ask for kendra, she is very meticulous about your nails!

For those who've had all types done, how would you compare them?
