Hey girls, I came across this and just had to post it asap (1:36am!) lol :-)

We've been talking about nails for quite a while, and glitter, naturally leading to glitter nails... which I had to try, and then had the hardest time removing!  I just came across this video which I think is a totally fabulous and effortless way of removing glitter nail polish! So excited to try it next time I have glitter nails!!  Hope you girls enjoy :-)

Here's the video

Now I can sleep in peace knowing I've shared this crucial piece of info ;-) hehe
ps. sorry in advance for any grammar / spelling typos, kinda falling asleep and CA-ing at the same time ;-)

Haha Becky, you're so cute! I'm the same when I think of something when I'm trying to fall asleep...I just have to get up and do it real quick otherwise I won't sleep!

I've heard of this technique but haven't tried it yet. I just so happened to paint my nails with a glitter polish tonight (OPI's Gone Gonzo, love it!) so I guess I'll have to try it out in a few days. :)

Great Trick! on Jan 05, 2012 @ 09:43 am

I have never thought of using felt- that's really interesting!

I have heard of doing this trick before, but I have never actually done it- I will def give it a try! I use acetone usually which works because it is so harsh but it dries out your nails.

I'll also post this video in the video section for easy linking.

Yay! on Jan 06, 2012 @ 12:35 pm

Such good tips! I had glitter polish on for Christmas and a different colour for New Years and scrubbing off both colours was SO frustrating! Almost turned me away from glitter polish forever - dare I say it. But the work was worth it and now with these ideas I can deal.

Thanks for posting!

I have shared this link with two other glitter polish loving gals lol, thanks Becky!! I got my sister a glitter polish gift set for Christmas too and she was so frustrated taking it off the last time that she said her and glitter polish are on a break. Aaaaaand this video saves the day! ha ha

This is great! I always had a bit of trouble removing the sparkles off my nail (they are so stubbrn!) But I just might try this technique! No more harsh scrubbing on my nails! :)

THIS TRICK TOTALLY WORKS! on Jan 10, 2012 @ 11:24 am

Guys,
You should definitely use this method! I found out about it a few months ago and its really a lifesaver. I dont think I would wear glitter that much if I didn't hear about this trick.
