This weekend I bought the Guerlain Tenue de Perfection foundation (~$70) and the Abeille Royale Face Treatment Oil (~$125). Both these products are very pricey and are way more than I'd normally spend. I quite like them but I'm still having second thoughts because of the cost... The foundation looked quite nice on me and my mom and aunt who were with me liked it as well, which is why I bought it because I usually have trouble finding a foundation that doesn't make my skin itchy or dry, and one that matches me. However, I don't have much experience with foundation and I'm thinking that maybe I should look at cheaper options first. But maybe the reason why I like the foundation is because it's of high quality, which is what I'm thus paying for... And for the oil I'm planning to use that mainly to mix in with the foundation to make it look more dewy and less drying. So should I look for something cheaper for that? The oil is the one I'm thinking more of returning because I could probably find a cheaper product that's just as good. Any suggestions?

Not familiar with the foundation nor oil. But I can't help but think thete could be more affordable options for you even if you problematic or sensitive skin. NARS has a great line of foundation and last time I checked they have a line for a dewy finish. They are about $50 per bottle ... a bit steep but they are good quality and the have a huge range of shades to cover any complexion. You can also ask for a sample at Sephora. Or you can go to Holt Renfrew and they will do your face for free. So you can try before you buy. And I must also mention Maybelline Fit Me ... my new favourite. They also have a pretty good range of shades and one bottle only sets ypu back $6 if you find it on sale.

Il est indéniable que Guerlain fait de bons produits mais ils sont tellement chers. Je suis comme Gaumum, je crois qu'il y a des options moins dispendieuses.

I recently tried Magic foundation sample from Charlote Tilbury and I fell inlove with it. Totally matched with my skin tone and felt very natural. It was super long lasting too. Guerlain is a French in I believe so and they are a bit pricey. I don't own their products either.

I've always wanted to try Guerlain, just haven't because of the price. I'm interested to see how you like it long term.
