Any recommendations for cheap-but-good (ie. drugstore), straightening balms, etc to use with blow drying and a flat iron? My hair is very curly and coarse.

I use Osis stuff, it's roughly $10-$13 a bottle and it lasts for a while. I usually get it at beauty suppliers or random salon outlets. Also, fructis sleek and shine is good, except after a while it started weighing my hair down a lot so i'd recommend a cleansing shampoo every week or two to get rid of it all.

I don't think any of that crap works.. not for me anyways and my hair isn't that curly. I am succumbing to the Nexxus Sleek Memory stuff, but I doubt that works either.. sounds like a good idea though
