I am about to turn 25, and for the last 5 or so months, I have been suffering acne around my mouth/chin area. It is lots of small blemishes and it is painful.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did anything help?
Should I invest in Vichy Normaderm or try something like Spectro cleanser or Cetaphil?

Have you started using any new facial products recently? New lipstick, moisturizer, etc that might be causing the breakouts? I've had adult acne for years, but for me it's hormone driven and gets worse sometimes if I come across a product that I'm allergic to. I'd start with Spectro or Cetaphil first. Vichy is so expensive, so I'd start with the others first. It will be trial and error really to see what works. Everyones skin is different. You could ask to see a dermatologist too. If the breakouts are really painful it might be better to see your doctor or a dermatologist first. If this is suddenly come on and you haven't had problems like this since your teens, it could possibly be caused by some other underlying skin condition. Someone I knew had a sinus infection that was the cause of her breakouts.

Clean your cell phone regularly- there is so much bacteria on it and that's exactly where it touches your face. And keep your hands off your face as well. Use natural products that don't have harmful chemicals that will upset your skin.
