Hey everyone - thanks for reading my post. I'm a peri-menopausal 41 year old woman with oily, dehydrated skin..with adult acne and rosacea. I've tried a million products (ok, maybe a few less) and just can't seem to find the magic ones for me. I've also made a lot of changes to my diet, water intake, electrolytes, adjusted my thyroid... Anyway, I was hoping that those of you with similar situations would share your secrets with me! :)

I've always had this problem and have also tried many products to
help it. I'm 45 now, so I do know how you feel. Every time I find something that seems to work, it will
stops working after I've used it for awhile and I'm back where I
began. I started using the new Olay Pro-X Clear Acne Protocol back
in Dec and have gotten very good results with it so far. The only thing
about it is that the cleanser in this kit isn't as big as the
other two products and it doesn't last near as long as the other two
do depending on how much you use at a time. They don't sell it separately so when your out of cleaner you
have to buy the kit. I did a review for it on here if you'd
like to read what I had to say about it you can go here
Oh and the price I have on there isn't necessarily what you'll pay for
it. I've seen it for around $38.97 at WalMart, but Well.ca sells it for
$46.99, so it depends on where you buy it and if you can find it on
sale. I've managed to squeeze a second month out of the cleanser, but that's using
it very sparely and sometime only using it ounce a day. If you don't mind
the price I'd say go for it, it hasn't dried me out at all and the last
step feels like your applying liquid silk to your face. I love it, I'm
just not sure I'll be able to afford a full kit just to get the cleanser
every time I run out of it. You should also change your pillow case
everyday because even if you wash before bed our skin tends to get
oilier over night and that gets all over our pillows. I hope this helps
some and let me know if you do try the Olay kit and how it worked for

Skin is a great indicator of what is happening inside of us. When we reach peri meopause our hormones are changing. Lower estrogen levels will cause skin dehydration which in turn can result in oilier, more sensitive (rosacea) skin along with wrinkles and loss of tone.
Our internal organs also function less optimally. Dehydration can be help with detoxification or kidneys and and detoxing the liver can lessen acne and rosacea.
People with sensitive skin will develop intolerance to most product with chemical ingredients. Try natural products that are for sensitive and dehydrated skin types.

Try find oil-free hydrating lotions...
Spring waters before lotion could also help...
