I'm a freak for homemade hair masks, I just love it it's chep, easy and actually so much better for your hair. It's also something to do when your bored, I have used olive oil, eggs, honey, peanut butter, mayo, and coconut oil. Anyone one else try this? Know any other ideas I can try?

I've tried a hair mask that has honey, olive oil, and egg yolk. I thought it worked really well but it was a complete mess to put on. It was kind of gross to wash out, but once my hair was all clean it was super soft and shiny. I've never tried peanut butter, mayo, or coconut oil, but I've heard coconut oil is amazing for hair, skin, and has a million other uses.

I used some left over egg whites from when I made Boston cream cake as a hair mask and followed it up with coconut oil on my hair and put a bag over it then heated it with my hair dryer, it was like a boutique hot oil treatment.bso relaxing and soft.

Egg whites or avocado make great moisturizer masks for hair. Even mayo.

Leave coconut oil in your hair after massaging it into your scalp too. Wear a shower cap and go to sleep! Wash in the morning.
