Half a lemon and put 3-4 drops of honey on it. Now just rub the lemon on your face for some time, make sure you emphasize on the black heads prone areas like nose, chin etc. Leave the lemon and honey mixture on your face for 5 minutes and then wash it with cold water. You will be able to see the results immediately. Additionally, lemon juice will also fade other marks/spots on the face and honey will moisturize.

I saw this on Pinterest. I'm hesitant to try it with my skin though! Would love to hear anyone's experiences!

So Smart! on Jul 05, 2012 @ 12:02 pm

I love the idea of using the lemon itself! This is pretty cool, I think I will give this one a go!

Honey is very good to soften skin and lemon is great for getting rid of pimples and dirt so this should be great.

I like both of these products but I think having to leave sticky honey on my face for any amount of time may be annoying.

I do homemade masks like these all the time. I tried one very similar to this, but it also had egg white. The recipe was:
-1 egg white
-2 tsp Lemon Juice
-1/2 tsp honey
the egg white helps tighten your skin and pores.

I have also tried a honey lemon lip scrub, which I thought worked pretty well. Which is about
-1 tsp Honey
-1 tsp Olive Oil
-2 tsp Sugar
-a dash of lemon juice
