I recently purchased a voucher from Buytopia for a hair service (cut, colour, wash and style). I used it today and had probably the worst hair experience ever.
My hair was half bleached (i just wanted them to make it red and they had an "accident") which they tried to pass off as a normal occurrence and were going send me out into the world with half blonde half orange hair. They also spilled hair dye on my face. Red, hair dye. I can't wash it off, because it dried like that. Then I received a literally 2 minute hair cut. And I have long hair, down to mid back, so it needs layers which I did not get..
I was also charged almost 40$ for the extra colour it took them to "fix" the blonde part.
I am so surprised. I have previously never purchased vouchers for hair before, and after this I don't think I will again. Has anyone had good or bad experiences buying these?

I bought my father and brother vouchers from Deal Find in early spring for a round of golf with power cart for $25 (65% savings) each for two people to a local golf club that they go to. They thought it was great and had no problem redeeming them.
I probably would not buy a voucher to some place I already did not know about though.

I know, I've bought vouchers from dealfind before as well, to restaurants and dessert places and even for massages and spa packages. But this is my first time buying a hair salon package, so I'm wondering if this was just my bad luck, or if the salons are usually not that great.

Had that. Won't buy vouchers for hair stuff again. Crap service, crap professionalism, crap results.
