For those of you who have bangs. Does your hairdresser charge you money for a bang trim?
I went to a great hairdresser and she said she would not charge me for a bang trim.. but I found out that normally at the salon it costs about $7.
How much would you tip the hairdresser?

I would give them a $5 tip for that. I think it would be really silly for them to charge you for it on top of that. It takes 2 seconds.

I'm a cheapskate and trim my own bangs. Buy a pair of hair scissors (available at most stores that are well-stocked with hair care prods) one time for $15 and you have a lifetime of quickfixes for free.

I don't have bangs, but have to ditto mamaluv's words. Invest in some good hair cutting scissors, take good care of them and keep them sharp and never use them for anything else and they will last a lifetime. And then you can do your own little touch-ups between salon visits.
Or if you don't trust yourself to do it, you could have a trusted friend/family member trim for you. =)
To be totally honest - I learned how to cut my own hair years ago so salons don't even exist in my world anymore anyway. LOL
