I use a concealer religiously, but I don't use foundation. I find it makes me look fake and makes every single hair on my face stand out. Maybe I am using the wrong foundation? I like the idea of a flawless skin finish but everything I have tried makes my skin look strange and definately like I am wearing foundation. Can't it just look naturally flawless? Help! Product recomendations would be great too -- I have fair skin and it's combination type.

I had the same concern when I tried foundation originally... then one day I had my make up professionally done for a wedding, and the make up artist suggested I exfoliate the night before. What a huge difference it made! I didn't get that caked on look and the little hairs were less noticeable! Give it a try! :)

I really like foundations, but some of the BB creams are a great alternative. They don't make skin look too fake. I like one by Misscha M perfect Cover BB cream…my preferred shade is the #27. It brightens the skin without looking like you're wearing make up.

Have you had a makeup artist try and match and apply foundation? Maybe try airbrush type foundation like Dior.

I found that using a primer and a foundation brush works wonders to make it look natural. And moisturizer! So important!

i don't like wearing foundation, it makes my skin break out a lot but ever since I've been using Bare Minerals Bare skin, its made my skin look amazing, not only is it so light weight and gives such a natural look because it blends so well, it also almost turns into a soft power on your face but still has the look of foundation, and it makes your skin feel so soft i love it! <3

|Yes you should try foundation! on Oct 25, 2014 @ 12:18 pm|
You may only want to use it for special occasions but you should try getting color matched. I really like the Marc Jacobs liquid foundation. You can get a light coverage but still look very natural. To deal with the peach fuzz you may want to apply with a beauty sponge.
