I am from Canada and there are few options for beauty subscription boxes. The two boxes I am struggling between are IPSY and Topbox.
Ipsy really stood out to me because of the amount of samples AND full sized products you get each month. Plus it comes with a cool new makeup bag each month. It totals at $20 and change Canadian. I know a little less about topbox. I know its only about $13 Canadian and it has various beauty samples in a cute cylinder each month.
So I took the plunge, subscribed to Ipsy and got on the wait list for Topbox (I read you can be on a wait list for topbox for months!). After 2 days I was off the wait list and now have ordered the November box.
I received the following in my Ipsy bag this month and am happy with what I got:
- EVA NYC Therapy Session Hair Mask
- Peter Lamas Exfoliating Pumpkin Facial Scrub
- Meet Matt(e) Hughes Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick (in Committed)
- Emite Makeup Professional Slant Tweezer
- IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-in-1 Mascara
I am thinking I will try them both out for a while...
Does anyone have any experience with either of these subscription boxes????

I order #TopBox every month now I will be getting my second box this month. I really liked last month's box. I am happy I joined. It is fun to to try products so I know what I like so I am not wasting money.

Are your #topbox items mostly samples? I've seen online sometimes people get full sized items like polishes.
I like that #ipsy contains lots of fulls zed products

I subscribed to both companies for a while.
Ispy had decent samples. I only received a couple full sized products in over a year. The bags were cute. Overall, with the rising exchange rate I really felt that paying $20 cdn was not worth what I received on a monthly basis.
I still subscribe to TopBox. I love that it's in Canada and the cost is very reasonable. At topbox you can put in a request for special privee boxes (not guaranteed) or simply request a regular box for the month. I have received several full sized products over the last year. The worth always exceeds the cost per month.
In a nut shell, in my opinion, TopBox wins hands down.
On a side note, if anyone is interested in skipping the waitlist on TopBox PM me your email and |I can send you an invite.

Woo what's a special privee box
|Privee boxes on Oct 17, 2015 @ 06:27 am|
They are special boxes that you can request. You are not guaranteed the box. They offer about 5 or so a month.
So every month you set up a wish list. You indicate which boxes you like (a collection of privee or just get a regular box).
Now regular boxes are different for everyone. It is based on your beauty profile questionaire.
One example would be a Benefit box. I received about 5 maybe 6 samples in that box. I received "puff-off", "porefessional primer", "it's potent eye cream", either the "they're real or the roller lash" mascaras.... Trying to remember what else (it was months ago).

I've been with Topbox since Gymm went downhill.
I love the cardboard tubes my Topbox comes in, as it's a "free" dog toy lol.
When I was with Glymm (now defunct), I found the reusable bags a waste and annoying - how many bags does a girl need? I gave them all away, and kept one.
Product wise, I usually get a full sized something, and a variety. Generally I don't sign up for the possible themed packages as I find those samples smaller, and I like the aspect of surprise :)
I don't know a lot about Ipsy.

The nail polish are full size and I find the samples a good size as well I just received my second one yesterday shared it on Twitter. I really like #topbox already have my order in for next month.

I got one ipsy bag, it took ages it seemed to arrive and the exchange rate didn't seem worth it to me at the moment.

I've got a few ipsy bags now and I really love it. Nail polishes are full siz, as are eyeliners and eyeshadows. Samples are quite generous sizes as well.

I really, really love Ipsy. I haven't tried Topbox yet, but honestly the price of Ipsy is so little for the chance to try new makeup. I have barely any makeup so for me it's really worth it. Only 15 dollars is a steal! Last month I got two products I adored, a liquid eyeliner and the Meet Matt(e) Hughes lipstick that I reviewed on my blog
