Nail Art Trend: Colour Changing Polish Shade Shifter by Orly

Shade Shifter from Orly is a new color-changing gel topcoat that changes pigment depending on body temperature and chemistry.

If you're warmer, the polish goes lighter and if you are colder, it gets darker. Cool, or what?

Here's a video that explains the polish a little better and shows the results.

Awesome! on Jun 14, 2013 @ 02:53 am

My mom said they had stuff like this in the 80s! Along with colour changing lipsticks, mood rings, the nail lacquer was a hit only 25-30 years ago! I think it's awesome when trends come back like this!

Nice but .... on Jun 19, 2013 @ 09:14 pm

I wish they'd do this for regular nail polish too. I like to change my colour too often to use the gel.

I used to have something like this that would change with the sunlight! I'm excited to try this and see if it actually works. I get bored of nail colours really easily so I think this would be great for me!
