Any of you ladies know where I could get a super duper nail filer? If so, where could I purchase one? I have super thick and strong nails, so the nail filer keeps ripping off the paper after first use. I really like to use those ones and have gotten a really good one in the past at this store that has closed down.

Try a glass one instead of the paper one!

There are glass ones? Where could I get those?

I tested one on Amazon and got one from Julep before, but I'm sure they're everywhere. They are a bit pricier though I think.
Do any of you ladies have any recommendations for specific brands?

No idea, I just use my usual one. Had no idea there were alternatives.

Hmmm this glass one has me intrigued. I go through them like socks and its so difficult to find a good one that will last. Something to consider. Thanks for this info wonderwhatif

Glass nail files last longer and work your edges better.

I find that the best nail files are the ones that are dark grey and thick. Available at any drug store. My nails are thick and strong. These work for me.

Thanks ladies, I'm going to go scope out a glass nail filer.
@fredamans, thanks for the link, it's really helpful. It's exactly what I need.

I bought mine at sally beauty but you also find them at Walmart

Sephora has an awesome Crystal one, and it comes with a case which I like - no scratching of my phone screen :). I think it is less than $15.
