New MAC Collection Spring 2013

Any guesses what MAC's spring 2013 collection will be inspired by???

Yup- Archie!!!

I'm kind of excited to see what colours and products they have in store for us. I think they'll do more 'innocent' neutral basics for Betty but a really vampy, dark look for Veronica.

Are you anticipating this collection? What do you think they'll do? And let me know- are you a Betty or Veronica girl???

takoda 23,795	MMmm on Jul 11, 2012 @ 11:20 am It makes me wonder just how much different can the colors can be from every thing else we've seen. I wish they could have shown us some of the shades, but I think you're right Alex. I can't see them going the other way around and having Betty in the darker colors and Veronica in the lighter shades. It just wouldn't fit their personalities if a comic can really have a personality.LOL I guess they do have one, that's what makes them different. It just sounds funny to me to say out loud.LOL

katieg 9,211	Retro on Jul 11, 2012 @ 11:36 am The Archies wore bright colour and the girls mainly wore dresses. Knee high boots or knee high socks. Bellbottom pants were also the rage. I hope not polyester fabrics.

mamaluv	fun! on Jul 11, 2012 @ 04:19 pm I saw this announcement too and as an old-school Archie fan I'm quite interested to see how they'll make this collection fresh and fun. I, like most others I'm sure, was always rooting for Betty while secretly jealous/idolizing Ronnie. The early comics had Betty as a little less intelligent and a total doormat, but they really developed her personality as the years went on. I did not like the early Betty at all. Veronica too went from being a complete cow to a much more complex character, but it also had the effect of making it harder for me to pick someone to root for.

honeybee7 949	should be fun... on Jul 12, 2012 @ 03:45 pm I'm looking forward to this... I remember a few years back when they had their wonder woman collection. I actually bought the blusher and quad eye shadows just for the packaging
