My complexion is quite fair. My eyes are blue and my hair is now light brunette ombre. My undertones are pink based.
Any other ladies with the same type of coloring have suggestions for the right nude lipstick? It needs to be pink based.
I'm also afraid it will make my teeth look yellow - anyone have that experience with nude shades?. Should I just skip the look altogether? I've heard that anyone can wear a nude Lip if it's the right shade for your complexion...

I don't know about one that would work. But I found the Trestelle in Nantucket Nude didn't work for my coloring (very similar to yours)

I think besides foundation it's one of the hardest shades to color match. My lips tend to be dry (oh how I hate winter dryness).

Tell me about it! Mine constantly have these deep grooves even though I haven't bitter them for years! I'm constantly exfoliating. I give up, lol.

I use sweet almond oil or coconut oil or olive oil plus sugar and a soft toothbrush to gently exfoliate my lips. I am clearly long overdue bc they're currently peeling off in sheets! Gross!

I have been using Revlon's Sandlewood Beige for years and have received numerous compliments. Many people have said it looks like my natural lip color.

I would go with a nice natural pink gloss... imo

@gaumum Is the beige you have matte or creamy?
@sjm I have tons of the pink lippies and glosses. I really want to try nude. Nude with pink undertones though. And I don't want to spend a ton of $ since I'm usually a gloss girl

I look similar to you it sounds-add freckles though. I have found that the nude thing tends to make my teeth look bad, and can also make my lips look small by blending into my skin, may not have found the right one like you say though. I usually just stick to a "my lips but better colour."

You know, I think you're right. I'm so focused on the nude thing, and the ones I've tried in the past make my teeth look yellow. Maybe you have to have a different skin tone to really pull off nude.
I think I will try what you say - my lip color but nicer. And @sjm I think I was too quick to dismiss your suggestion because I wad so focused on like a Kardashian type nude - but she's Peruvian (I think) and obviously has a diff skin tone which is why it looks good on her. Instead of gloss though I'm going to try creamy or matte.
Thank you girls for helping me see through my own obstacles xo

I think you would enjoy Blankety from MAC. I'm also fair skinned and have pink undertones and this shade suits me well and has become a favorite.
