Have any of you tried this? What's your experience? I want to try it with coconut oil, but I am a bit skeptical.

For those of you who may not have heard of it, here's an article about it: http://www.mindbodygreen.com/0-7857/why-you-should-start-oil-pulling-today.html

I was reading about oil pulling a while a go and it was definitely interesting but to be honest, I didn't really get it.

It's basically swishing oil around in your mouth, without swallowing to remove bacteria and toxins and it's also supposed to make your teeth whiter. Now, apparently, you should also use a high quality oil like coconut oil.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, I don't know how much good it could do. Also- I'm a huge baby when it comes to taste. If it didn't taste good, I wouldn't want to eat it, so I am not sure I could handle this.

I'd love to hear from someone who has done / does it and what they thought of it!

Here's the article I read on it: http://www.xovain.com/how-to/oil-pulling

Tried It on Jul 22, 2013 @ 03:38 pm

I tried this in the morning...Its strange at first but after your swishing it turns really watery...It felt so long doing this!I don't think I could do it everyday..After I spit it out there is a strange aftertaste...I guess I would have to continue to see the whitening results..Thanks for the post!
