My boyfriend recently got a bad cut on his forehead, no stiches but it's pretty deep and about an inch long. Do any of you have advice on the best way to help heal it? He's worried about scarring, I read vitamin E oil works well for scarring...anyone tried it?

You can also buy something at Shopper's or London Drugs called Scar Therapy. It's a gel that you are supposed to massage (not just rub or dab) onto the scar twice a day.

aloe vera on Jan 05, 2009 @ 12:59 am

If I remember correctly, there was a thread a long time ago on aloe vera (the natural stuff) and I think one of the benefits of aloe vera is promote healing. I'll see if I can find it again.

Does anyone else remember that post?
