Does anybody else miss the scented nail polish from the 90's? I still have a couple bottles though of course time has made them thick and goopey (thank goodness for nail polish thinner!) and the fragrances have either vanished or they don't last as long as they used to.
My favorite was a sandalwood scented one from Townley. In that particular bottle I've added other colors over the years trying to stretch it out and make it last. It's nowhere near the original color anymore (which was a silvery-greyish baby blue with turquoise sparkles; hard to describe but very pretty!) but still has flecks of the original sparkles in it. And it still smells exactly like it did when I bought it - it's just the smell only lasts a day or two now whereas when it was new the smell lasted a week or longer.
I really miss those things! I even wrote to Townley to ask if they had plans to bring theirs back and they said no. =(

Yes, I remember the scented nail polish! I loved it, I wish it was still around too.
I can't believe that you have some, you lucky girl!
I like the sandalwood scented one too, anything with sparkles rocks!
If I ever come across any, I'll let you know. Ohhh the good days!

It sounds kind of gross though, LOL. Sorry. I don't like heavily scented products. It's usually done with chemicals.

Actually, I haven't really bought any scented nail polishes... does the color stay for long time tho? Cuz recently, i found this really cool boutique that sells branded nail polishes like OPI and ESSIE, thing is they have all the bright colors, i bought like 5 in one shot! I think the name of the boutique is GLOW but im not sure but i've compared a few places and their prices are reasonable.. anyways, let me know if you want the address...i need to find their card. ^^

i was too young to wear nail polish in the 90's, but if there was scented polish around now i would be in love with that idea!

I dont think I know of the scented polish you are thinking of. BUT if you miss scented nail polishes you should definitely try the Anna Sui nail polishes. They are lightly scented with Anna's signature Tea Rose. The scent will last days and days..!!
Go try it out at the counter and see if you like the smell. I am not a huge fan of scented makeup/nail polishes but this product actually has a pleasant rose scent.
