I now officially own a pair of nice looking 'designer' shoes! I found a pair of Tahari heels at Winners!!!! They had a whole rack of them, with a sign that said Tahari!!! They were $60!!!!! I am not a shoe person, and very rarely wear heels. I went in to buy shorts for my vacation and came out with heels!
I have to say Winners really does impress me. The deals there are unbelievable.
The heels are black, and look like just a regular heel for work, but are open toe at the very end. So they look great with jeans/pants, as well as with a dress!
My favourite shoes last year were a pair of suede flip flops with gold/copper sequins (very pretty) that I wore to death. I paid $11 for them.
Where do you buy your shoes, and how much are you willing to pay for them? Which shoes in your closet/rack are your favourite and why?

I am wearing my Rockport right now. They used to be very comfortable when i first got them. I think the plastic or rubber might have hardened from it not being worn. Oh well... I might buy a new pair when i have chance. But i would look for comfort and style both at the same time. i used to just look for style and price before. And I am never going to buy anything from Aldo. My last pair of shoes kills my feet.

I love shopping at Winners for shoes too. I love the whole shopping experience where I'm walking up and down the aisle five times double and triple checking for any deals I might have missed. It definitely feels very "triumphant" when you find the pair that's a great deal. My favorite has to be a pair of burgundy leather round toe heels that I found there for $20! It's a bit uncomfortable, but the style is so sophisticated, you'd never know it's so cheap. Nine West outlet also has good deals and their shoes are always of good quality.

In the last year I found 2 great pairs at Winners. 1 a pair of cute Michael Kors black peep toe slingbacks for $99 that I wear all the time in the summer and 2, a pair of wedge miss Sixty shoes that are uber cute yet I haven't figured out where/when to wear them yet, which is sad.
I agree with hunter_jc that Aldo shoes have become really uncomfortable. Something must have changed because I used to love their shoes and now they are more of a last resort.
I like Town Shoes because they carry a little of everything and I love independent shoe stores and boutiques that carry styles and brands you can't find in the mall.

I have tried to buy shoes from Winners but I have to say they carry limited styles in Size 5 so I am better off shopping at stores like Town Shoes and independent shoe stores as well. I have found some shoes at Aldo as well but they also carry limited Size 5s!
