I'm going to Paris/London in a few months and I was wondering if anyone can recommend some shops. I'm trying to find stores or labels that are not available in Canada. I looking for clothing, shoes and lingerie.

Well, I really like TopShop in London and Harrod's of course...I am sure you already know this, but its pretty expensive in both of these places, especially for clothing. TopShop is a bit more reasonable and they carry 'trendy' items as well as nailpolishes and accessories.

Have a great time!

Topshop! on Jul 18, 2009 @ 06:23 pm

I would definately definately recommend topshop. It has a range of affordable clothing, with all different styles too suit different sizes. It is definately one of the most fashion forward shops in the UK and if you like to keep up to date with latest styles i would definately go there. I practically live in the shop! Other shops would be.. I would also try, river island, new look and house of fraser, which is a really affordable department store, with clothes for every age. Hope this helps!

Are you in for a treat! There are so many boutiques here that will keep you occupied for months.

1) If you want every single label known to man, plus some extras, you can go to Lafayette. Though, it's not a very pleasurable experience as it's just a huge department store constantly filled with people and lines.

2) Colette on Rue Saint-Honore: Amazing! It's a smaller version of Holt Renfrew (if you're from Canada) or Macy's (if you're from America). It's incredibly expensive though but a great place to stop by and check out some very interesting high-end trends.

3) Rue du Commerce - A street just west of the Eiffel Tower. It has all the unique Parisian boutiques you could hope for. Shoes, clothes, etc.

Those are a few suggestions I can offer. What's great about Paris is they have stores for La Perla - entire stores just for lingerie! There are some cheaper places for lingerie but when I say 'cheaper' it doesn't necessarily mean 'cheap'.

Let me know when you're in town! Perhaps we can do some shopping together and I can take you out to some fabulous cafes and clubs.

Thanks Marayna for the wonderful suggestions!!! I'm trying really hard to save up and avoid the sales here in Toronto so I can spoil myself with something wonderful from Paris.

Definitely wait! on Jul 28, 2009 @ 01:21 pm

There are even better sales here! Trust me. In fact - you'll save more here than you'll save in Canada/U.S. And they're all trends that are ahead of their time so they'll still be in style for years to come.
