I have had the same face regimine for about 2 months now and everything was good until a couple days ago my face started getting unmanageably dry, a little swolen by my eye, along with red blotches and tiny bumps! It's awful, I'm not really sure what to do or change.
It did get bitterly cold here recently but I've gone through these winters since I was born and this is the first time my face has reacted this way. Any advice?

You may be having a reaction the products ingredients. Look at the ingredients and check the product on www.cosmeticsdatabase.com. This will tell you the toxicity of your product and what you might be reacting to. I would stop using that product and see if it clears.

...happened to me.
Started on my face and ended up EVERYwhere. So be careful and definitely stop using that product. Start using all natural products that have no artificial scents or harsh ingredients. If it lasts for far too long, then it means it's infected and you'll need to get some antibiotics from a dermatologist and a low (and I mean low .05%) level cortizone cream.
Wash your face with a gentle foam cleanser in the morning and at night. And make sure to use a gentle moisturizer - the thicker, the better. I used lotions that had shea butter in them and it was fantastic. L'Occitane has a great product but it is a bit pricy (although, worth it in your sitution)
I'd go see a dermatologist right away if I were you though.

Marayna and Momofboys have good suggestions. I would only add that you should check the product expiry dates. It might also just be a bad batch - did your problems start when you opened a fresh bottle, or was it out of the blue? you can probably get your money back either way by simply calling the toll free number on the bottle. Silver lining!

The same thing happened to me almost a year ago. I bought the cortizone ointment (like Marayna suggested) from Shoppers for about $5 and it worked wonders. After a week, the whole thing was completely gone. I also suggest using Cetaphil cleanser which is super gentle on dry skin. Make sure you wash your hands all the time just to prevent any more hive-like symptoms. Also, let your face breathe so no make up!
