I've been looking for an affordable Stippling Brush for liquid foundation since FOREVER.
Does anyone have any good recommendations? I've seen a few from a previous thread on foundations, about Mac and Dior, but I noticed how expensive they are, and was looking for a cheaper alternative? Possibly under 20 or even 15 CAD?
Any help would be appreciated! :)

Quo has some good brushes, not sure if they have a stippling brush but they might, it's worth checking out. Also the Sephora brushes aren't bad either and I think they should have one too. Both should be a cheaper alternative to the MAC stippling brush.

They had one stippling brush that's more for bronzer and powder foundations :(. Does it matter if I use those for liquid foundations?
I think Stephora may also be quite high in my price range. But I'll continue to check it out. Thanks!

Go to http://www.sigmabeauty.com/ and look at the brushes there. They are more affordable than MAC and Dior and the quality is comparable to MAC so it's pretty good. Plus everyone raves about them. Just get the whole set like what I did and you're good to go :)

Are you in Toronto? If you are there are a few places I know of that you can check out for cheap alternatives to expensive brushes.
Lawrence square mall: top floor there's a store that sells makeup. I bought a very cheap brush set from them, about $10. The brushes aren't mac, but they are pretty good for what its worth. I've only used the eyeshadow brushes so far and they do their job just fine.
Orfus Road: right opposite Target there's a Beauty Supply store that has a lot of beauty stuff for cheap. I betcha you can find good brushes there too.

@Becky Toronto has Target?!?! Since when???
I AM in Toronto! I'm going to look right now for those places. I've never been to Lawrence Square mall before! I'll check it out!
@Tammyk I've seen these brushes! But with the shipping costs, I'm not sure how much less it would be compared to the other brushes >__<. But Thanks! I'm going to check it out anyways and see how much the total will be just in case.

I think so .. I think it's called Target :-/ Big huge letters ... so Orfus road, not the side where the bus comes, but the other end of Orfus, the end that hits Davenport (Church street) has a big store .. and opposite that :)
|YES! on May 17, 2011 @ 05:38 pm|
I just googled orfus road shopping and I see TARGET as one of the stores listed, so I'm sure it's Target that I mean :) yay ..i'm not delusional ..lol
And the beauty supply store I'm talking about is "Toronto Barber and Beauty Supply"

Before you get too excited, this Target may be "Target Apparel" which is something different :( HUGE disappointment! Someone told me there was one in Edmonton so I drove all the way there only to find out this is NOT the Target I was expecting. Sigh. The good news is they are supposed to hit Canada by 2014. lol The one by you may be a real Target, but check the Target website first for locations so your dreams don't get dashed like mine were!

So here's how ignorant I am: there's a difference between target apparel and target? The target apparel on orfus rd (I checked and it is apparel) sells clothes and stuff. Nothing too exciting, but it's still good. What does the Target sell as oppose to target apparel?
|Yes, there's a difference on May 18, 2011 @ 10:22 am|
As far as I know, Target Apparel is owned by the same company that owns Randy River and Fairweather. There's a legal battle going on between the owner/founder and the founder of the American Target which is the one we all know and love. Hopefully this article can clear things up!
But they are very different :( I guess we'll just have to be patient until the real Target comes!
