Yes - it is Intense Highlighting!
place highlighter on all the high points of the face (think the first spots where the sun/light would hit).
for a more intense look, you could layer a cream and a powder highlight for a big "strobing" effect!

There are great tutorial videos on Youtube explaining the technique. :)

I love it! It's basically an alternative to contouring your face with make-up. I see strobing as the quick-contour. I like to do a full-out contour when I have the time, but if I sleep in a little bit and need to quickly get ready for work, strobing is a fast, easy way to add dimension to your face without taking a whole lot of time. Julep makes a great highlighting powder that I love (online only), but there are a lot of different highlighters you can find in any drugstore.

Ya! It's just intense highlighting without contouring. Also it is more of a dewy, moist finish as oppose to just straight up shimmer. Check out a blog spot I did about it! amayzingbeauty.blogspot.ca

I've never heard of it either. Of course whenever I attemp to contour, I end up looking more Krusty the Clown than Kardashian LMAO

Strobing is super intense, shiny highlighting - no contouring involved. You should check YouTube! Honestly, I feel like strobing is just another soon-to-fade beauty fad, but it does look pretty!
